The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity cross country team finished 5 th at the District 3-3A Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Tuesday with 121 points.
Sophomore, Omar Martinez, led the team, placing fifth overall to advance him to Regionals, clocking a time of 18:53.30.
Freshman, Brandon Marines, finished 27 th with a time of 22:36.80, while senior, Jacob Turpen, finished 34 th with a time of 24:18.70, and sophomore, Braedy Saenz, finished 35 th with a time of 24:45.78.
Freshman, Caiden Meiwes, finished 36 th with a time of 26:19.28, and Michah Keeney finished 38 th with a time of 29:09.54.
Omar Martinez, will be running at Regionals on Oct. 25 th at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
