The Littlefield Lady Cats and Wildcats’ cross country teams competed at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational on Saturday. The Lady Cats placed 27 th overall out of 36 teams in the small school division with 722 points.
Freshman, Brinley Acevedo, led the team finishing 127 th with a time of 15:03.50, while senior, Brianna Acevedo, finished 129 th with a time of 15:03.80. Kamryn Meiwes finished 163 rd with a time of 15:50.30, while junior, Lilli Loredo, finished 213 th with a time of 17:08.30.
Leilani Solis finished 221 st with a time of 17:19.30, while Rosario Loredo finished 251 st with a time of 19:01.80.
On the boy’s side, Brandon Marines finished 183 rd overall with a time of 22:31.50, while Brady Saenz finished 256 th overall with a time of 26:29.90. Caiden Meiwes finished 257 th with a time of 26:37.10, and Micha Keeney finished 265 th with a time of 28:18.80.
Littlefield will be competing again at Plainview on Sept. 18 th .
