REGIONAL QUALIFIERS - The Olton Golf teams competed at the District Meet last week at Reese Golf Course in Lubbock with the Girls team placing second overall, led by individual District Champion Kylee Noack. Noack shot a 92, while Payge Davina shot a 113, Reese shot a 129 and Emma Acker shot a 134.

DISTRICT CHAMPIONS - The Sudan Golf teams competed at the District Golf Meet last week at Reese Golf Course in Lubbock with both the Girl’s and Boy’s teams placing first overall to claim the district titles.

Deadline to order SWCD windbreak trees is Monday

The Lamb County Soil and Water Conservation District is currently taking orders for the Spring Windbreak Tree and other plants sales.

FBC of Springlake to host a Marriage Conference

First Baptist Church of Spriglake, TX is holding a Marriage Conference: A Cord of Three Strands, Ecclesiastes 4:12, on Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st. The cost of the conference is $40/couple, scholarships are available. There will also be meals, door prizes and gift bags provided.

Cannon AFB to host first airshow since 2018

CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. – Cannon AFB will host its first airshow since 2018. The airshow, Wings Over Cannon, is scheduled for April 22, 2023. Gates will open at 9:00 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
