“Best of Show” is what any contestant at the Panhandle-South Plains Fair hopes to receive.Long-time Littlefield resident, Delmer White, received exactly that at the 2024 Panhandle-South Plains Fair in Lubbock, Texas, in the culinary exhibit.

Xcel Energy Using AI Technology to Detect Wildfires in Texas Panhandle

Xcel Energy is increasing its wildfire detection and mitigation efforts in the Texas Panhandle by introducing artificial intelligence to spot fires early. We are partnering with Pano AI to install more than 50 camera stations across the region.

Commissioners to meet Monday

Man booked in Lubbock County after hitting a structure and running from law enforcement

Texas Department of Public Safety gave an update on the crash turned pursuit this morning in Lamb County that ended in Lubbock County.A Truck Tractor Semi-Trailer had collided with a house off US 84 just outside the east city limits of Littlefield.No one was home at the time of the crash.

A new Christmas Tree was lit for the first time in front of the Courthouse, between the Lamb County Library and the Littlefield Police Department. “This is a project that we’ve been working on and a dream of mine since I was a child,” Lamb County Judge Mike DeLoach said.
