Nettes come up short on the road against New Deal, 59-52

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team suffered their second loss of district play on Friday, when they fell on the road to the New Deal Lady Lions, 59-52. New Deal jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter, leading the Nettes, 15-11, going into quarter number two.

Lady Cats take down Lady Mules in first meeting, 64-31

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team cruised past the Muleshoe Lady Mules on Friday, 64-31, to close out the first half of district play. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 17-6 overall, 6-0 in district play.

Wildcats take care of business against Friona

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team picked up a victory on the road in Friona on Tuesday, as they took down the Chieftains, 75-41. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 19-3 overall, 2-1 in district play.

Lady Wolverines top Crosbyton, 54-38

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines defeated Crosbyton on Dec. 29th, 54-38. They were led by Taytum Goodman, who tallied 21 points, eight rebounds, six steals and six assists, and Emma Samaron, who chipped in 21 points, 11 rebounds and six steals.

The Littlefield Lady Cats varsity basketball team cruised past the Friona Squaws on the road on Tuesday afternoon, 74-43. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 16-6 overall, 5-0 in district play.
