Lady Cat volleyball falls to Brownfield, 0-3

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team fell to the Brownfield Lady Cubs on Saturday, 0-3, in their first meeting of district play. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 4-2 in district play.

Bulldogs set to take on Cotton Center

The Anton Bulldogs’ varsity football team opened district with a 67-22, victory over the Whitharral Panthers on Friday.” With the win, the 8 th ranked Bulldogs improve to 7-0 overall on the season. “I really thought our intensity was great from the start and we never let down,” Head Coach Matthew Hoover said.

Nettes JH XC team claims District Championship

The Sudan Nettes’ junior high cross country team placed first overall with a combined time of 1:21:43.33 to claim the District Championship on Saturday. Addisyn Harrell placed third overall with a time of 15:24.93, while Kaileigh Greenwalt finished sixth with a time of 16:34.64.

Hornets JH XC team finishes fourth at District Meet

The Sudan Hornets’ junior high cross country team placed fourth overall at the District Meet on Saturday with a combined time of 1:27:27.80. Drew Lockhart led the team, placing fifth overall with a time of 13:26.10.
