The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity cross country team earned the District 4-A Championship last week at Plainview with 21 points to qualify them for Regionals. Junior, Josh Samaron, earned top honors, placing first overall with a time of 17:22.41.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ JV cross country team earned the District 4-A Championship last week at Plainview with 15 points. Angelina Tovar placed first overall with a time of 14;39.88, while Micaela Fuentes placed third with a time of 16:09.97.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ junior high cross country team won the District 4-A Championship last week with 35 points. Aabriella Villanueva placed first overall with a time of 13:30.09, while Reagan Ethridge placed second overall with a time of 13:35.28.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ junior high cross country team finished as the District 4-A Runner-up last week with 36 points. Luis Fuentes led the team, placing fourth overall with a time of 13:03.50, while Neimiah Castillo finished sixth with a time of 13:58.78.
