Nita Jo Eiland went home with Jesus December 26, 2022. She was born November 23, 1948, to Orba and Minnie Eiland of Lockney, TX. Nita had a passion for taking care of children; most of her life, that is what she did. She started working in a daycare and eventually began a business in her home.

Plutarco Davila, 79, of Littlefield passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023 in Littlefield. He was born Oct. 2, 1943 in Harlingen, TX to Domingo and Rosa Davila. Plutarco worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed playing pool, bowling, and watching the Dallas Cowboys play football.

Linda Sue Howell, 82, of Littlefield passed away Jan. 9, 2023 in Amherst. She was born Sept. 29, 1940 in Grandfield, OK to Phorious Howell and Maudie (Recer) Howell. Linda Sue moved to Littlefield when she was 15, and became a lifelong resident.

D’Kota Tiller, 26, of Littlefield passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023 in Littlefield. He was born Feb. 18, 1996 to Misty Tiller. D’Kota was a truck driver but also a talented tattoo artist who loved tattooing his clients.

April 9, 1925 ~ Jan. 7, 2023 Maria Cleofas Cristan, 97, of Littlefield, Texas went to be with our Lord on January 7, 2023. She was born on April 9, 1925 in Laredo, Texas to Santiago Valdez and Petra (Zarate) Valdez. Maria was a lifelong resident of Littlefield. She married Felix Cristan Sr.

Carlton R. Parker, 83, of Lebanon, TN formerly of Littlefield, Texas, passed away January 1, 2023 in Lebanon. He was born December 18, 1939 in Anton, Texas to Monroe Parker and Floy Rose (Shepperd) Parker. Carlton graduated from Anton High School with the class of 1959.

Harvey Allen “Red” Rivers, 92, of Lubbock, TX passed away Dec. 23, 2022. Red was born Jan. 17, 1930 to George and Ruby Rivers in Stamford, TX. He was in the John Deere business for more than 50 years. He was an avid bowler and pool player throughout his life.
