Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Jeremy Trull officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Robert Mojica, 70, of Cotton Center, died Tuesday, July 20, 2021, in Lubbock. Rosary was said Thursday evening, July 22, 2021, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, in Olton. Mass was celebrated Friday afternoon, July 23, 2021, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Jeremy Trull officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

We celebrate the life of Gerry Brent Whiteaker, beloved father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. A memorial service to honor Brent will be held at a future date. Brent passed away after a lengthy illness on July 6, 2021, and has gone to be with his Lord and Savior.

Samuel Ervin Black, age 67, of Lubbock, passed away on July 11, 2021 in Lubbock. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield with Jim Harris from the Crescent Park Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements were under the personal care of the Moore-Rose Funeral Home.

Sammy Smith, age 75, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Lubbock. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Fresh Fire Fellowship Church in Lubbock. Interment followed at Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield with Pastor Jarrod Dugger officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Moore Rose Funeral Home.

James “Butch” Glenn Cox, 79, of Muleshoe, Texas died July 12, 2021 in Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. Viewing will be open to the community on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Ellis Funeral Home in Muleshoe; the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Trinity Christian Center Church in Muleshoe at 11a.m. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park.
