Cassandra Waldrop, 71 of Littlefield passed away Friday, March 24, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones after a short battle with illness. She was born April 10, 1951 in Plainview, Texas to Rodney Ivey and Betty (Hanna) Neugebauer.

Cassandra graduated from Amherst High School with the Class of 1969. She married the love of her life, Tommy Waldrop December 20, 1969 in Amherst. The couple moved to Littlefield a short time later, where they raised their family. Cassandra started as a bank cashier in 1985 and retired in 2021 as an Assistant Vice President of Aim Bank in Levelland, Texas. She was a wonderful wife, she loved her family immensely. Her greatest joy was being a "Nonie" to her grandchildren, words cannot express the love she had for them. She cherished spending time with her family, and she especially enjoyed making holidays special for them. She was a loyal friend and a loving mother-in-law. She liked to knit and loved to read her Bible. She will be fondly remembered for always saying "I love you all" and telling everyone how thankful she was for her Jesus.

Cassandra is survived by her husband, Tommy Waldrop of Littlefield; a son, Brent Waldrop and wif, Belisa of Lubbock; a daughter, Aimee Gray and husband, Chad of Lubbock; four grandchildren, Gabby and Addison Waldrop and Emma and Cooper Gray; and a long list of relatives who loved her dearly.

Waiting for her in Heaven are her parents; and a brother, Len Ivey.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday March 28, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Littlefield with Ronnie Hedges officiating. Interment followed in Littlefield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Littlefield EMS (PO Box 1267, Littlefield TX 79339). Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
