The U.S. House passed the Food, Farm and National Security Act of 2026 (H.R. 7567), or “Farm Bill 2.0,” with a 224-200 vote, moving the legislation to the Senate.The bill boosts risk management for farmers, updates conservation programs, and increases loan limits.

This past Saturday, Lamb County voters cast their ballots in the May 2026 Election.The following are the preliminary but unofficial results for elections in Littlefield, Amherst and Earth. The official results will be canvassed before elected officials are sworn in.

Sudan One-Act Play advances to state

Sudan High School One-Act Play students competed at the regional competition at Canyon West Plains High School on April 25, 2026. The team advanced to the state competition in Austin, happening May 11 through 13.The play “Moon Over Buffalo” won first place in the competition.
