The 2024 Olton Livestock Show was held on January 18th, 19th and 20th in Olton, with the sale taking place on Saturday. 16 Lambs, 9 Goats, 55 Barrows, 13 Steers and 15 Heifers were shown.

Littlefield High School Student Council Annual Cake Auction is Friday, March 8th in the Wildcat Gym. Varsity Football players will bring decorated cakes to be auctioned off to the student body and community.

With three consecutive years of severe weather conditions throughout Texas, including extended hard freezes and droughts, East Texas trees have become vulnerable to secondary threats. These threats include cedar bark beetles, Ips engraver beetles, hypoxylon canker and cedar rust fungi.
