LAdy Cats open district with win over Fillies, 21-11

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team got distrrict play started on the right foot on Saturday, as they run-ruled the Denver City Fillies, 21-11, in six innings at Lady Cat Field. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 11-1 overall, 1-0 in district play.

Gordon Graves of Spade, a member of the South Plains Antique Tractor Association, is hosting the Association’s 12th Annual Antique Equipment “Plow Day” Saturday, March 23, 2024, on his farm just off FM 168, three miles north of Spade. Graves will be joining several others who will be having fun using their antique equipment to “deep break” the land east of his barn and house.
