Lady Cats take down Sundown, 60-51

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team defeated the Sundown Roughettes on the road on Monday, 60-51. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to, 4-1 overall on the season.

Wolverines drop heart-breaker to miami in area round

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team saw their season come to an end in heart-breaking fashion last Friday, as they fell to the Miami Warriors at Motley County, 42-34. With the loss, the Wolverines finish the season with a mark of 84 overall.

WIldcats cruise past post, 89-16

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team cruised past the Post Antelopes on Monday afternoon on the road, 89-16. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 3-0 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Lady Cats won the Tahoka JV Tournament last weekend, where they defeated Hale Center JV2, Plains, Whiteface and Hale Center’s JV1 en route to the Championship.

Fillies fall to Lady Rockets, 64-23, in Abernathy

The Olton Fillies’ varsity basketball team fell to the Wellington Lady Rockets on Thursday morning, 64-23, in the first round of the Abernathy Basketball Tournament. With the loss, the Fillies fall to 0-4 overall on the season.

Nettes top Muleshoe, 68-35, at Abernathy tourney

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team won their tournamentopener in Abernathy Thursday morning over the Muleshoe Lady Mules, 68-35. With the win, the Nettes improve to 4-1 overall on the season. Sudan jumped out to a commanding, 24-9, lead at the end of the first quarter.
