The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team cruised to victory over the Anton Lady Dawgs, 6315, last Saturday in Anton. With the win, the Nettes improve to 3-0 overall on the season, while the Lady Dawgs fall to 0-3 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team suffered their first loss of the season last Friday, as they fell on the road to the Levelland Loboettes, 57-38. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 2- 1 overall on the season.

McKinnon notches first varsity win as head coach

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team picked up their first win of the season and the first varsity win for Head Coach Nathan McKinnon, as they toppled the Roosevelt Eagles, 74-19. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 1-0 overall on the season.

Mustangs come up short against Steers, 42-21

The Olton Mustang varsity football team’s season came to a close on Friday afternoon in Littlefield in the Class 2A-DI Bidistrict round of the play-offs, as they fell to Farwell, 42-21. With the loss, the Mustangs finish the season with an overall mark of 7-4.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team saw their season come to an end on Thursday, at Dick Bivins Stadium inAmarillo, as they fell in the Class 3A Bi-district round of the playoffs to the Canadian Wildcats, 65-7.

Bulldogs come up short against Silverton, 52-34, in bi-district contest

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity football team came up short on Friday night in Petersburg, as they fell to the Silverton Owls, 52-34, in the Class 1A Six-Man D-2 Bi-district round of the play-offs. With the loss, the Bulldogs finish the season with a mark of 9-2.

Hornets clipped by Eagles, 42-20

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team saw their season come a close on Thursday night, in the Class 2A Bi-district round of the play-offs, as they fell to the Seagraves Eagles in Slaton, 42-20. With the loss, the Hornets finish the season with a mark of 7-4 overall.

Wolverines conquer Patriots, advance to Area play-offs

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team took down the Valley Patriots in Petersburg on Friday evening, 62-29, to claim the 1A Six-Man D-I Bi-district Championship. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 8-3 overall on the season.
