nETTES GO 5- 0 TO TAKE O. W. Follis Tournament

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team went 5-0 at the O.W. Follis Tournament in Lamesa this week, taking the Tournament Championship over Colorado High School, 68-34. With the wins, the Nettes improve to 9-4 overall on the season.

Lady Cats drop close game to Hereford, 39-36

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team suffered a tough loss on the road on Tuesday, as they fell to the Hereford Lady Whitefaces, 39-36. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to, 4-2 overall on the season.

Sudan football well represented on All-District teams

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team was well represented on the 2023 District 2-2A Post-season honors lists. Senior quarterback, Trent Wilson was named the District’s Offensive MVP, while wide receivier, Jaibryn Ornales, was named the Newcomer of the Year.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team used a second half surge to rally past the Idalou Wildcats on Tuesday in Littlefield, 5852. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 4-0 overall on the season.

The Olton Fillies’ varsity basketball team fell to the Sundown Roughettes at home on Tuesday, 70-40, in non-district play. With the loss, the Fillies fall to 0-7 overall on the season.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team notched their first win of the season last Tuesday when they defeated the Sundown Roughnecks, 61-39, at home. With the win, the Mustangs improve to, 1-1 overall on the season.
