Mustangs come up short against Plains in 2A Regional Semi-Finals

The Olton Mustang’s varsity basketball team had their magical run come to an end on Friday at the Class 2A Regional Tourament in Levelland, as they fell to the Plains Cowboys, 53-46, at the Texan Dome.With the loss, the Mustangs end the season with a mark of 22-12 overall, 12-3 in district play.

Mustangs come up short against Clarendon, 10-8

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity baseball team fell just short against the Clarendon Broncos last Saturday, 10-8, in game one of their double-header at Mustangs Field.

Lady Cats run-rule Tulia, 11-1

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team run-ruled the Tulia Lady Hornets on Wednesday, 11-1, at Lady Cat Field in Littlefield. With the win, the Lady Cats improved to 5-1 overall on the year.

Wildcats place first at Muleshoe Golf Invitational

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity golf team took first place at the Muleshoe Golf Invitational on Tuesday in their second meet of the season. The team shot a 415, led by Samuel Mermella shot a 96. Jayce Longoria shot a 101, while Reece Miller shot a 104 and Noah Castaneda shot a 112.

Wildcat varsity/JV tennis collects 11 medals at Levelland Tournament

The Littlefield varsity and JV tennis teams competed in Levelland on Thursday, where they combined to bring home 11 medals.

Littlefield varsity tennis team wins Denver City TOurnament

The Littlefield varsity tennis team competed at Denver City on Friday where they brought home the team Championship. Julie Bownds and Chloe Sawyer took first place in girl’s doubles. Bownds and Sawyer played Idalou (6-2, 6-3); Kingdom Prep Academy (5-7, 6-3, 10-7) and Denver City (6-1, 4-6, 10-6).
