Lady Cats open district with win over Dimmitt

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team opened district play on Tuesday night on the road with a 3-0 victory over the Dimmitt Bobbies, 25-15, 25-22 and 25-23. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 1-0 in district play.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity cross country team competed at Plainview this past weekend. Junior, Josh Samaron, led the Wolverines, finishing 6 th with a time of 17:44.95, while junior, Kaden Castillo, finished 17 th with a time of 19:21.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team suffered another tough defeat on Friday for Homecoming, as they fell to Idalou, 35-6. With the loss the Wildcats fall to 1- 3 overall on the season.

LADY WOLVERINES’ CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS COMPETE AT PLAINVIEW

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ cross country team competed at Plainview last weekend finishing fourth as a team with 94 points. The Lady Wolverines were led by freshman, Taytum Goodman, who placed first overall with a time of 11:00.
