The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team blasted the Lockney Longhorns on Friday, 56-6.With the win, the Hornets improve to 6-1 overall, 2-0 in district play.The Hornets totaled 369 yards of offense, including 250 rushing yards and 119 passing yards.

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team won their district- opener over Crosbyton on Friday night, 50-6.With the win, the Hornets improve to 5-1 overall on the year, 1-0 in district play.The Hornets totaled 422 yards of offense, including 343 rushing yards and 79 passing yards.

Sudan qualifies four runners for 2A Regional Meet

The Sudan Hornets and Nettes’ varsity and JV cross country teams competed at the District 3-2A Cross Country Meet on Tuesday, at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.The Nettes were led by Anneke Van De Pool who placed fifth overall with a time of 13:37.

Frietze to represent S-E at Regional XC Meet

The Springlake-Earth Wolverine Cross Country Team competed at the District Meet in Plainview on Tuesday, where Kaylob Frietze qualified for the Regional Meet, placing third overall with a time of 19:00.00.Josiah Castillo also competed in the race, finishing 19th overall with a time of 24:12.
