WILDCAT DEFENSE BOTTLES UP RIVER ROAD TO OPEN DISTRICT

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team opened up district play on Friday with a huge win over the River Road Wildcats, 22-9. With the win the Wildcats improve to 2-4 overall, 1-0 in district play. “It’s a momentum builder,” Head Coach Brent Green said.

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team stumbled against the Bovina Mustangs on the road in their district-opener, dropping the contest, 25-21. With the loss, the Hornets fall to, 3-4 overall, 0-1 in district play.

Sudan set to open district play against Bovina Mustangs

The Sudan Hornets varsity football team cruised to a,46-14, Homecoming victory on Friday over the Plains Cowboys. This week they open district play on the road against the Bovina Mustangs. “I felt our guys really played well the entire game,” Head Coach John Cornelius said.
