HORNETS FALL TO SMYER ON THE ROAD, 56-19

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team fell on the road on Friday to the Smyer bobcats, 56-19. With the loss, the Hornets fall to 1-2 in district play. The Hornets totaled 332 yards of offense, including 192 passing yards and 140 rushing yards.

2020 BI-DISTRICT CHAMPS - The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity the Bucks on in - volleyball team defeated the Alpine Lady Bucks on Saturday in Andrews, 3-1, to bring home the Class 3A Bi-district trophy.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team brought home a gold ball on Saturday night, as they took down the Alpine Lady Bucks, 3-1, in the Class 3A Bi-District round of the Play-offs.

WILDCATS FALL SHORT AGAINST FALCONS ON SENIOR NIGHT

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team fell short against Bushland on senior night on Friday, 35-24, at Wildcat Stadium. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 2-5 overall, 1-2 in district play. Bushland won the toss and elected to receive to begin the contest.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team closed out the regular season with a win over Friona on senior day, 3-2, in a fiveset thriller. With the win, the Lady Cats finish district play with a mark of 6-4.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team pulled off a huge win over Petersburg on Friday, 72-28, to improve to 2-0 in District play, taking over first place in District 2-A Six-Man Division I. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 4-3 overall on the season.
