The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team suffered their first loss of district play on Tuesday on the road against Sundown, 60-46. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 13-12 overall, 6-1 in district play.

The Olton Mustang’s varsity basketball team downed the Vega Longhorns on Tuesday, 68-36, to stay unbeaten in district play. With the win, the Mustangs improve to 20-1 overall, 5-0 in district play.

LADY CATS TAKE DOWN FRIONA, 52-24, ON THE ROAD

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team took down the Friona Squaws on Tuesday evening, 52-24, on the road. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 11-6 overall, 10-1 in district play.

SUDAN HOSTS POWERLIFTING MEET FOR FIRST MEET OF SEASON

The Sudan Powerlifting team got their season underway last Thursday, as they hosted a meet to open the season. Jaylen Cannon finished first in the 181 lb weight class with 180 lb lift on squat, 100 lb lift on bench and 230 lb lift on dead lift. She finished with a total weight of 510 lbs.

LADY CATS RUN AWAY FROM FILLIES, 53-31

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team improved to 9-1 in district play on Friday with a road win over the Denver City Fillies, 53-31. With the win, the Lady Cats imrpove their mark to 10-6 overall on the season.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity basketball team throttled the Anton Bulldogs on Friday, 75-25, to stay unbeaten in district play. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 12-3 overall, 9-0 in district play.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines varsity basketball team took down the Anton Lady Dogs on Friday, 75-24. With the win the Lady Wolverines imrpove to13-4 overall, 10-0 in district play.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity basketball team blasted the Hart Longhorns last Tuesday, 91-26, to improve to 11-3 overall, 8-0 in districtplay.
