SUDAN HOSTS POWERLIFTING MEET FOR FIRST MEET OF SEASON

The Sudan Powerlifting team got their season underway last Thursday, as they hosted a meet to open the season. Jaylen Cannon finished first in the 181 lb weight class with 180 lb lift on squat, 100 lb lift on bench and 230 lb lift on dead lift. She finished with a total weight of 510 lbs.

LADY CATS RUN AWAY FROM FILLIES, 53-31

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team improved to 9-1 in district play on Friday with a road win over the Denver City Fillies, 53-31. With the win, the Lady Cats imrpove their mark to 10-6 overall on the season.

S-E Wolverines bounce Anton on the road, 75-25

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity basketball team throttled the Anton Bulldogs on Friday, 75-25, to stay unbeaten in district play. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 12-3 overall, 9-0 in district play.

WILDCATS HOLD OFF DENVER CITY IN FIRST MEETING

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team took down the Denver City Mustangs, 48-32, on Friday in their first meeting of the season. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 12-8 overall, 5-3 in district play.
