Lady Bulldogs compete at Littlefield Invitational

The Amherst Lady Bulldogs’ varsity and JV cross country teams competed at the Littlefield Invitational Cross Country Meet last Saturday.The varsity girls were led by senior, Isaura Jiminez, who finished 54th overall with a time of 15:56.01.

Villanueva, Ojeda lead varsity XC teams at Lfd. Invt.

Littlefield hosted their annual Invitational Cross Country Meet last Saturday, where the Wildcats placed third as a team with 111 points and the girls finished seventh as a team with 145 points.The varsity boys were led by junior, Noah Villanueva, who placed third overall, clocking a time of 16:32.

Hornet and Nettes XC teams run hard at Littlefield Invitational

The Sudan Hornets and Nettes’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Littlefield Invitational Cross Country Meet last Saturday, where the Nettes finished 6th overall with 142 points.The varsity girls were led by Sophomore, Anneke Van De Pool, who placed sixth overall, clocking a time of 13:51.

Fillies hang on to win 5-set thriller over Talkington, 3-2

The Olton Fillies’ varsity volleyball team held on home Tuesday night to win a five- set thriller over Talkington, 3-2.With the win, the Fillies improve to 8-13 overall on the year.

Hornets sting bulldogs, 40-14

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team stayed unbeaten on Friday night, taking down the Tahoka Bulldogs at home, 40-12.With the win, the Hornets improve to 2-0 overall on the year.The Hornets totaled 401 yards of offense, including 234 rushing yards and 167 passing yards.
