The Springlake- Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team dropped a heartbreaker on Friday night to the Booker Kiowas, 75-58, in the Class 1A-D1 Bi-district round of the play-offs.

Wildcats fall to CHildress, 84-34

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team saw their season come to an end on Thursday night at Happy Bank Stadium in Canyon, as they fell to the Childress Bobcats, 84-34.With the loss, the Wildcats finish the season with a mark of 8-3.

Lady Cats edge Lady Matadors in season-opener, 47-40

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team won their season-opener last Saturday, 47-40, on the road against the Estacado Lady Matadors.With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 1-0 overall on the year.

Amherst closes out regular season with win on Thursday

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity football team closed out the regular season with a victory on Senior Night over the Lazbuddie Longhorns, 56-7. Amherst kicked off to begin the game, as Brennon Garcia tried an onside kick, but it was covered by the Longhorns at their own 32yard line.

The Olton Fillies’ varsity volleyball team had their season come to an end on Tuesday night, as they fell to the Forsan Lady Buffaloes, 0-3, in the Class 2A Area Volleyball play-offs at Coronado High School.
