DISTRICT CHAMPS

DISTRICT CHAMPS – The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverine’s varsity golf team claimed the district championship last Thursday. Senior, Carsann Baker, placed second individually, while freshman, Taytum Goodman, finished third overall.

SECOND PLACE

SECOND PLACE – The Sudan Nettes’ girl’s golf team competed at the District Golf Meet last week, which took place at the Yoakum County golf course. The Nettes’golf team won second place overall. Additionally, Jaron Box won second place individually.

LADY CATS RUN-RULE DIMMITT, 12-1

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team run-ruled the Dimmitt Bobbies on Friday, 12-1, in their first meetin of district play. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 2-2 in district play.

THIRD PLACE

THIRD PLACE – The Littlefield Girl’s golf team placed third overall at the District Meet last week at Reese Golf Course.

Littlefield track teams advance multiple athletes to Area Meet

The Littlefield Wildcats and Lady Cats’ varsity track teams competed at the District 3-3A Track and Field Championships last Thursday and Saturday at Mustang Stadium in Denver City with the boys finishing fourth overall with 77 points and the girls finishing fifth overall with 73 points.

WILDCATS WALK OFF AGAINST KERMIT, 7-6

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team walked off with a, 7-6, victory in extra innings over Kermit on Saturday in game one of their double-header at Wildcat Field.

Mustangs place second, Fillies finish third at District 3-2A Track Meet

The Olton Mustang and Fillies’ varsity track teams competed at the District 3-2A Track Meet last week at Longhorn Stadium in Vega. The boys placed second overall with 177 points, while the girls placed third with 82 points.

Nettes place second, Hornets finish third at District5 Track Meet

The Sudan Hornets and Nettes’ Varsity Track teams competed at the 2A District 5 Track and Field Championships in Sundown last week with the girls placing second overall with 170 points and the boys finishing third with 112.5 points.

WOLVERINE RELAY CHAMPIONS

WOLVERINE RELAY CHAMPIONS – The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ junior high track team hosted the Wolverine Relays last week. The Wolverines brought home first place with 145 points.
