Sudan JV track teams place second at District 5 Track Meet

The Sudan JV Track teams competed at the 2A District 5 Track and Field Championships in Sundown last week with both teams placing second overall. The boys finished with 132 points, while the girls finished with 128 points.

Bulldogs place second at JH Wolverine Relays

The Amherst junior high track teams competed at the Wolverine Relays last week with the boys placing second overall with 124 points and the girls finishing eighth with 10 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 4th Itzel Medrano 15.08 6th America Pacheco 15.

Olton qualifies three golfers for Regionals

HEADING TO REGIONALS The Olton Mustangs and Fillies golf teams competed at the District Golf Meet last week. Madison Young, Brody Langford, and Bryson Ramage advanced to Regionals, which will be held at Lake Ridge Country Club in Lubbock on April 19th and 20th.

WILDCATS BLAST MULESHOE ON THE ROAD, 17-0

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team throttled the Muleshoe Mules, 17-0, on the road on Tuesday night in their first meeting of the season. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 2-0 in district play. The Wildcats jumped out to a quick, 1-0, lead, before Chris Brown drew a walk.

Seventh grade Fillies win District 3-2A Track Meet, boys place second

The Olton Colts and Fillies’ seventh grade track teams competed at the District 3-2A Junior High District Track Meet last week in Olton. The girls placed first overall with 117.5 points, while the boys placed second with 101 points.

Eighth grade Colts place 2nd, girls finish 5th at District Meet

The Olton Colts and Fillies’ eighth grade track teams competed at the District 3-2A Junior High District Track Meet last week in Olton. The boys placed second overall with 151 points, while the girls finished fifth with 65 points.

LADY CATS TAKE DOWN MULESHOE, 9-3

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team took down the Muleshoe Lady Mules, 9-3, on Tuesday to close out the first half of district play. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 3-2 in district play.

The Littlefield Wildcats and Lady Cats’ JV track teams competed at the District 3-3A Track and Field Championships last Thursday and Saturday at Mustang Stadium in Denver City with the boys placing second overall with 146 points and the girls finishing third overall with 108 points.
