Wildcats walk it off against Lamesa, 7-6

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team rallied back for a, 7-6, walk-off win over the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes at Wildcat Field on Saturday. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 3-0 in district play.

The Anton Junior High track teams competed at the District Meet at Kress High School on Friday with the boys placing second with 124 points and the girls finishing fifth with 66 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 2 nd Alisiah Alafa 13.91 14 th Maribel Amalla 16.

Olton advances 13 to 2A Regional Track Meet

The Olton Mustangs and Fillies’ varsity track teams competed at the 2A Area Track Meet on Friday in Vega with the boys placing third overall with 81 points and the girls finishing 8 th with 38 points. The Girl’s Advance Kylee Noack in three individual events and Marissa Rodriguez in one event.

The Sudan seventh grade track teams competed at the District Track Meet with the girls placing second overall with 143 points and the boys placing third overall with 117 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 7 th Lillianna Sanchez 16.17 14 th Stephanie Jaramillo 17.

The Sudan eighth grade track teams competed at the District Track Meet with both teams placing third overall. The boys finished with 127 points, while the girls finished with 148 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 12 th Jordyn Gore 17.48 13 th Jasmine Gonzales 17.
