The Anton Bulldog and Lady Dogs’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, where the Lady Dogs finished 16 th overall with 369 points. On the girl’s side, junior, Andalesia Alonzo-Rivera, led the team, finishing 52 nd overall, clocking a time of 16:11.3.

The Littlefield Lady Cats and Wildcats’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, with the Lady Cats finishing 21 st with 571 points. On the girl’s side, freshman, Brinley Acevedo, led the Lady Cats, finishing 84 th with a time of 15:35.0.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team improved to 4-1 on the season on Friday, as they 45’ed White Deer in the first half, 47-0. The Wolverines struck first, as Braxton Ethridge connected with Dereck Rosalez for a 39- yard touchdown.
