NETTES FALL ON THE ROAD TO RANDALL, 75-63

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team fell short on the road against Canyon Randall on Monday evening, 75-63. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 5-4 overall on the season.

Amherst Lady Bulldogs fall to Whitharral, 35-18

The Amherst Lady Bulldogs’ varsity basketball team fell to the Whitharral Lady Panthers on Nov. 16 th , 35-18. Amherst jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter, leading the Lady Panthers, 7- 2, heading into the second frame.

Olton football team earns post-season honors

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity football team was well represented on the District 1-2A D-I All-District Teams. First team All-District offensive selections include quarterback, Logan Lassiter, wide receiver, Jake Soliz and kicker, Logan Lassiter.

Sudan well represented on All-District teams

The Sudan Hornets had a handful of athletes earn post season honors on the District 2-2A D-II All-District teams, headlined by sophomore, Trent Wilson, who earned Newcomer of the Year. Junior, Drew Carr, earned first team All-District Utility Player.

Lady Wolverines come up short against Plains, 55-38

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ came up short on Monday in their game at Plains against the Cowgirls, 55-38. With the loss, the Lady Wolverines fall to 2-3 overall on the season.

HORNETS RUN AWAY FROM BULLDOGS FOR, 53-26 WIN

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team overcame a slow start to take down the Amherst Bulldogs on Tuesday night, 53- 26. Amherst’s Gabriel Garcia opened the contest with a lay-up, drawing an and-one foul on Sal Juarez.

Lady Wolverines take down Crosbyton, 47-31

The Springalake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team took down Crosbyton on Friday, 47-31. With the win, the Lady Wolverines improve to 2-2 overall on the season.

Mustangs throttle Nazareth, 72-42

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team throttled the Nazareth Swifts at home on Friday, 72-42, to improve to 2-0 overall on the year. Olton jumped out to a, 15-4, lead in the first quarter and added 19 points in the second frame to take a, 31-16, lead into the locker room at halftime.

Nettes take down Montwood, 50-34

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team won their second game of the Frenship Tournament on Friday with a, 50-34, victory over Montwood. With the win, the Nettes improve to 5-1 overall on the season.
