LADY CATS WIN CONSOLATION BRACKET AT DENVER CITY

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team went 4-1 this past weekend at the Denver City Shootout, winning the Consolation Bracket. The Lady Cats picked up a win over Midland Christian in their tournament-opener, but fell to Levelland Thursday night, 60-34.

Lady Wolverines win Whiteface Tournament

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team brought home the Whiteface Tournament Championship on Saturday with a win over Hale Center, 50-46.

NETTES BLAST ANDREWS, 68-18, IN TOURNAMENT-OPENER

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team throttled the Andrews Fillies on Thursday, 68-18, in their Shallowater Tournament-opener. Sudan came out on fire, pouring in 23 points in the opening quarter. They added 17 points in the second frame to take a, 40-9, lead into the locker room at halftime.

Lady Cats win first game of D.C. Shootout

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team won their tournament-opener on Thursday over Midland Christian, 56-19, at the Denver City Shootout. Littlefield poured in 21 points in the first quarter to take a, 21-6, lead into the second frame.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team won their tournament-opener on Thursday at Whiteface, as they took down Petersburg, 66-45. With the win, the Lady Wolverines move to 1-0 in tournament play this weekend.
