The Littlefield Lady Cats lost their season-opener on Saturday on the road to Estacado, 51-21. With the loss, they fall to 0-1 to begin the season. It was a tight game through the It was a tight game through the first quarter, with the Lady Matadors leading, 10-6, heading into quarter number two.

The third seeded Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team brought home the Class 3A Bi-district trophy on Monday night with a, 3-1, victory over the second seeded Alpine Lady Bucks at Andrews High School.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team lost a heart-breaker at home on Senior night to rival Muleshoe in triple overtime, 38-36. With the loss, the Wildcats close out the season with a mark of, 3-7 overall, 0-4 in district play.

UNDEFEATED DISTRICT CHAMPIONS – The Anton Bulldog’s varsity football team capped off the regular season as Six-Man D2 District 3 Champs with a, 68-48, victory over Lazbuddie on Thursday night. The Bulldogs are coached by Head Coach Matthew Hoover and he is assisted by Josh Hinojosa and Adam Ramirez.
