The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team picked up their first win of the season on Saturday with a home victory over Hale Center, 46-37. With the win, the Lady Cats are 1-2 overall on the season.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team fell short on Tuesday in their season-opener against Lockney, as they fell to the Lady Horns, 55-47. With the loss, they fall to 0-1 overall on the season.

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team rallied back on Tuesday to take down the Sands Fillies on the road, 43-42, to move to 2-0 overall on the season. The game was neck-and-neck after one court at, 12 points a piece.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team’s season came to an end on Thursday night in the Class 1A Six-man DI Bi-district round of the play-offs, as they dropped a barn burner at Anton against Happy, 48-44.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team took down Kress at home on Friday, 60-14, to earn their second consecutive District title. With the win, the Wolverines cap off the regular season with an overall mark of 8-1, 4-0 in district play.
