LADY CATS BLAST LAMESA, 60-11

The Littlefield Lady Cats rolled past the Lamesa Lady Tornadoes in their district-opener on Friday, 60-11. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 11-6 overall, 1-0 in district play.

Mustangs cruise past Cowboys on the road

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team cruised to a victory on the road on Friday over the Plains Cowboys, 84-38. With the win, the Mustangs improve to 14-2 overall on the season. Olton came out hot in the first quarter, pouring in 26 points.

Nettes fall at home to Seminole, 61-33

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team fell to the Seminole Maidens at home on Monday, 61- 33. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 10-8 overall on the season. It was a tight game early on, with Seminole clinging to a one-point advantage at the end of one, 11- 10.

The Olton Fillies’ varsity basketball team fell to the Sundown Roughettes on Tuesday in Olton, 60-48. It was a tight game through one quarter, with Sundown holding a two-point lead, 10-8.

Mustangs blowout Roughnecks, 92-30

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team defended their home court on Tuesday, as they took down the Sundown Roughnecks, 92-30. With the win, the Mustangs improve to 13-2 overall on the season.
