The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team saw their season come to an end on Friday, as they fell to the Farwell Steers in Dimmitt, 56-42, in the Class 2A Bi-district round of the playoffs.With the loss, the Hornets finish the season with a mark of 8-3 overall.

Amherst closes out regular season with win on Thursday

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity football team closed out the regular season with a victory on Senior Night over the Lazbuddie Longhorns, 56-7. Amherst kicked off to begin the game, as Brennon Garcia tried an onside kick, but it was covered by the Longhorns at their own 32yard line.
