The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team had several players earn All-District honors in District 23A.First team All-District selections were junior, Maggie McNeese, and sophomore, Madison Williams.Second team All-District selections were senior, Bryndle Ray, and junior, Cobi Saldana.

The Olton Fillies’ varsity volleyball team had several players earn All-district honors in District 2-2A.Sophomore, Taryn Smith, led the way earning the District’s Offensive MVP award.Seniors, Kaitlyn Avalos and Denisse Alvarado earned first team All-District honors.

The Springlake- Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team was well represented on the All-District teams.Senior, Froylan Agundiz, was selected as first team All- District spreadback and first team All-District cornerback. He was also an All-Star selection.

The Littefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team went on the road and took down the Denver City Mustangs, 53-38.With the win, the Wildcats improved to 2-0 overall on the year.Jayden Barrio hit Elijah Rodriguez for a lay-up to open the game, as he drew an and-one foul on Kirk Padgett.

Lfd. XC athletes earn Academic All-State Honors

Several members of the Littlefield High School Cross Country team were named THSCA Cross Country Academic All-State Selections.Those athletes are Sophie Garcia, Jordan Randle and Kealee Bussey.Garcia was also named to the Cross Country Coaches Association of Texas Academic All-State Team.
