Nettes clip Seagraves, 67-22, to open district play

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team opened district play on Friday with a, 67-22, victory over the Seagraves Lady Eagles. With the win, the Nettes improve to 14-10 overall, 1-0 in district play. The Nettes took a commanding, 20-8, lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team fell to the Brownfield Cubs in their first meeting of the season, 45-35. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 6-13 overall, 0-2 in district play.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity basketball team took down Hart on Friday, 80-47 to improve to 2-0 in district play. The Wolverines came out strong, pouring in 22 points in the first quarter.
