The Sudan Nettes won both their day one games at the Gruver Holiday Classic this past weekend, as they took down Perryton, 60-55, and Spearman, 50-37.

The Sudan Nettes’ suffered their first loss of the Gruver Holiday Classic on day two of the tournament, when they fell to Canadian, 50-33. With the loss, they fall to 2-1 in tournament play on the weekend.

WOLVERINES RALLY PAST DALHART, 51-46, AT WILDCAT CLASSIC

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity basketball team closed out the Wildcat Classic on Wednesday with a victory over the Dalhart Wolves, 51-46, at Wildcat Gym in Littlefield. With the win, the Wolverines finish tournament play, 1-2.

Hornets compete at Caprock Classic

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team competed at the Caprock Classic in Lubbock this past week, where they went 0-4 against some tough competition. In their opener, they took on the Shallowater Mustangs at Coronado High School, falling to the Mustangs, 94-27.

Fillies close out Wildcat Classic with loss to Dumas

The Olton Fillies’ varsity basketball team came up short in their final game of the Wildcat Classic last Wednesday, falling to the Dumas Demonettes, 57-43.

MUSTANGS BEAT LOCKNEY TO WIN CONSOLATION BRACKET

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team won the Consolation bracket last Wednesday afternoon with a victory over Lockney, 69-28, at the Wildcat Classic in Littlefield. With the win, the Mustangs finished tournament play 2-1.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team closed out the Wildcat Classic last Wednesday with a victory over Tahoka, 49-36. With the win, the Lady Wolverines finish the tournament 1-2.
