LADY CATS RUN-RULE ALPINE FOR BI-DISTRICT TITLE

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team defeated the Alpine Lady Bucks in walk-off fashion on Thursday, 14-2, in Big Spring to earn their first gold glove since 2016, capturing the 2022 Bidistrict Championship.

LADY CATS CLOSE OUT REGULAR SEASON AT MULESHOE WITH WIN

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team closed out their regular season on Saturday with a, 15-5, victory over the Muleshoe Lady Mules on the road. With the win, the Lady Cats close out the regular season with an overall mark of 14-7, 7-3 in district play.

WILDCATS RUN RULE MULESHOE, 20-1

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team run ruled the Muleshoe Mules on Saturday 20-1, in Muleshoe to secure a play-off spot. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 9-11-1 overall, 2-4 in district play.

NETTES CELEBRATE SENIOR NIGHT WITH WIN OVER LOCKNEY, 14-4

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team run ruled the Lockney Lady Horns, 14-4, in six innings on Tuesday night to celebrate senior night with a victory. With the win, the Nettes improve to 6-8 overall, 4-7 in district play.

Littlefield track athletes heading to Regionals

The Littlefield varsity track teams competed at the District 3 and 4-3A Area Track Meet at Mustang Stadium in Denver City on Thursday with the Lady Cats placing fifth overall with 56 points and the Wildcats finishing eighth with 37 points.

Dennys Reyes to represent Amherst at Regionals

The Amherst varsity track teams competed at the District-3 and 4- 1A Area Track Meet at Longhorn Field on Wednesday, April 20 th with the Lady Bulldogs finishing 10 th with 18 points, while the boys finished tied for 10 th with two points.

The Anton varsity track teams competed at the District 3 and 4- 1A Area Track Meet at Longhorn Field on Wednesday, April 20 th with the Bulldogs finishing fifth with 50 points, while the girls finished ninth with 19 points.
