The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team opened district play at home on Tuesday with a win over the Muleshoe Mules, 6849, at Wildcat Gymnasium. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 1-0 in district play on the season.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team fell to the New Home Leopards on Thursday in the third-place game, 6949, as they finished fourth at the 31st annual Wildcat Classic. With the loss, the Wildcats finish tournament play with a mark of 2-2.
