Wildcats run-rule eagles, 14-4

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team went on the road last Saturday and run- ruled the Roosevelt Eagles, 14-2.

Mustangs take first place at Farwell

The Olton varsity track teams competed at the Farwell Relays on Thursday with the Mustangs taking first place overall with 165 points and the Fillies finishing fourth with 84 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 9th Emma Acker 14.62 15th Aspen Struve 15.

The Sudan Hornets won their tournament- opener over Muleshoe JV, 20-8, on Thursday at the Shorty Barlow Springlake-Earth Baseball Classic.

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team won a thriller over the Springlake-Earth Wolverines on Monday in their home-opener, walking it off, 87.

S-E track teams compete at LCU HS Invitational

The Springlake-Earth varsity track teams competed at the LCU High School Invitational last week. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 200-meter dash 18th Jenna Bridges 31.48 21st Rylie Furr 32.14 22nd Aryca Ibarra 32.73 Girl’s 400-meter dash 10th Rylie Furr 1:10.57 13th Jenna Bridges 1:14.

Lfd. varsity track teams compete at Mustang relays

The Littlefield varsity track teams competed at the Mustang Relays at Mustang Stadium in Denver City on Friday with the Wildcats finishing tied for third place overall with 64 points and the Lady Cats finishing fifth with 63 points.

Wolverines take down Muleshoe JV, 14-4

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity baseball team defeated Muleshoe’s JV on Saturday, 14-4. Muleshoe got on the board first with two runs in the top of the inning, but Springlake-Earth answered with a six-run bottom of the first.
