It has been a long time since I’ve gotten to write an edition of the D.L., so I figured I would give you guys an update into our life before our schedule gets super busy again in a few weeks.

Olton mustangs blast smyer in summer basketball action

The Olton Mustang’s varsity basketball team cruised past the Smyer Bobcats in summer basketball action last Friday at New Home, as they took the contest, 60- 15.

Wildcats fall to mustangs at, 47-36

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team took on Shallowater in their opener at New Home on Friday, falling to the Mustangs, 47-36. The Mustangs opened the contest on an, 11-0, scoring run, before Sir Pratt dropped in a lay-up to get the Wildcats on the board, trimming the lead to, 11-2.

Wildcats cruise past roosevelt, 59-30

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team competed at a summer tournament at New Home on Friday and Saturday where they went 8-1 overall. In their second game of the day on Friday, they defeated the Roosevelt Eagles, 59-30.

S-E Baseball players earn All-District selections

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity baseball team capped off a solid 2023 season with a handful of honors in District 3-1A, headlined by junior, Slade Beerwinkle, who earned the District’s Defensive MVP award and junior, Xavyer Mosqueda, who was the District’s Pitcher of the Year.
