Wildcats struggle in, 10-0, loss to Denver City

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team struggled on both sides of the ball on Saturday afternoon, as they fell to the Denver City Mustangs, 10-0, in their first meeting of district play. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 0-2 in district play.

Olton varsity track teams compete hard at Son Qualls

The Olton varsity track teams competed at the Son Qualls Relays at in Sudan on Friday, March 31st with the Mustangs placing fifth overall with 60 points and the Fillies finishing eighth with 29 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 10th Amie Beelitz 13.

The Littlefield varsity track teams competed at the Brownfield Relays in Brownfield on Friday. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 2nd Lindsay Coffman 12.54 3rd Bryndle Ray 12.84 Boy’s 100-meter dash 1st Mason Jones 11.14 Boy’s 200-meter dash 5th Omar Martinez 23.

The Amherst varsity track teams competed at the Son Qualls Relays at in Sudan on Friday, March 31st with the Bulldogs finishing 13th overall with two points and the Lady Bulldogs finishing 15th with four points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 7th Dennys Reyes 13.

The Springlake-Earth varsity track teams competed at the Son Qualls Relays at in Sudan on Friday, March 31st with the Lady Wolverines placing fourth overall with 60.5 points and the Wolverines finishing 11th with six points.

Wolverines walk it off against Crosbyton, 16-15

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines won a thriller over the Crosbyton Chieftains on Friday, as they walkedit off with a, 16-15, victory at Wolverine Baseball Field. With the win, the Wolverines are 21 in district play on the year.
