Wildcats run-rule Muleshoe, 16-3

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team blasted the Muleshoe Mules on the road last Tuesday, 163, to take their first meeting of district play. With the win, the Wildcats improved to 2-2 in district play.

Lfd. varsity track teams sending athletes to Area

The Littlefield varsity track teams competed at the District 3-3A District Track Meet at Mustang Stadium in Denver City on Friday with the Wildcats finishing fourth overall with 103 points and the Lady Cats finishing fifth overall with 77 points.

Lady Wolverines place second at District Meet

The Springlake-Earth varsity track teams competed at the District 4-1A District Track Meet at Kangaroo Stadium in Kress on Wednesday with the Lady Wolverines taking second place overall with 131 points and the Wolverines finishing sixth with 47 points.

Olton Mustangs take second at district meet

The Olton varsity track teams competed at the District 4-2A Track and Field Championships at Tyler Stadium in Floydada last Wednesday with the Mustangs placing second overall with 122 points and the Fillies finishing sixth overall with 61 points.

Sudan varsity track teams sending athletes to Area

The Sudan varsity track teams competed at the District 4-2A Track and Field Championships at Tyler Stadium in Floydada last Wednesday with the Nettes placing third overall with 74 points and the Hornets placing fourth overall with 90 points.

Wolverines take down Petersburg, 17-7

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity baseball team had a make-up game with Petersburg on Monday, where they runruled the Buffaloes, 17-7, in five innings. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 5-1 in district play on the year.
