Lady Cats pull away late to take down Muleshoe

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team pulled away late in the game Tuesday night to take down the Muleshoe Lady Mules, 48-31, sweeping the season series.With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 17- 10 overall, 6-4 in district play.

Littlefield Area Jr. Livestock Show and Sale announce winners

The 2026 Littlefield Area Junior Livestock Show and Sale began receiving animals in the Lamb County Ag and Community Center Barn from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14th.4-H and FFA exhibitors from Littlefield, Amherst, Springlake- Earth and Sudan communities brought their animals to the show.

State Sales Tax Revenue Totaled $4.3 Billion in Dec.

Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock said state sales tax revenue totaled $4.3 billion in December 2025, 5.7 percent more than in December 2024. The majority of December sales tax revenue is based on sales made in November and remitted to the agency in December.

Juan Garza, Ed Dabrowski win Bowl Pick-Em Contest

College Football postseason wrapped up on Jan. 19th, with the Indiana Hoosiers taking down the Miami Hurricanes in the National Championship game in Florida, 27-21.Our Bowl Pick-Em contest saw 17 contestants fill out brackets this year.
