18 Littlefield band members earn seat in ‘23 ATSSB Honor Band

Saturday December 10, 2022 The Littlefield Wildcat band took 18 band students to Levelland High School to compete in ATSSB (Association of Texas Small School Bands) 1st round process of earning a seat in the 2023 All State Band.

Commissioners to meet Monday

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2022, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 9–item agenda will be considered for appropriate action. After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items.

Annual Christmas for Kids Toy Drive underway; applications due Dec. 16th

The Lamb County Sheriff’s Office Annual Christmas for Kids toy drive applications are now ready to be picked up. Applications for the Christmas for Kids toy drive can be picked up at the Lamb County Sheriff’s Office or any local bank in the cities of Amherst, Sudan, Olton, Littlefield and Earth.

Lamb County Library December schedule

The Lamb County Library has released the December newsletter. The Lily Society will be meeting Monday, Dec. 12, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The book will be “ A Voice in the Wind” by Francine Waters. Teen Night will be meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec.

LEDC Type A meets in regular session December 8

The Littlefield Economic Development Corporation Type A met at 12 p.m. in a regular meeting Dec. 8, 2022 at the Chamber of Commerce. Members present were President Joel Griffith, Vice President Lori Zinn, Treasurer Gary Jones, Chase Bryant, Executive Director Michael Neighbors and Graham Henley.
