Olton Chamber of Commerce hosts 2023 banquet

The Home Place event venue, formerly known as The Walnut Tree, owned and operated by Robin and Jacquie Spain hosted this year’s Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture Banquet on Saturday, March 5, 2023. The theme for the banquet was “A Family Jubilee in 2023”.

The Lamb County Board of Managers met in regular session on Feb. 21st in the Education Room of Lamb Healthcare Center. The meeting was called to order at 12:03 p.m. by Board President, Carla Synatschk and the invocation was given by Booner Smith. After a review of the Feb.

Friday, February 17, 2023 thirty five High school students and one 8th grade student traveled to Abernathy High School to participate in the UIL Solo and Ensemble contest. This is the first year since covid that all participants were at one location for the contest.
