2023 LITTLEFIELD HOMECOMING QUEEN NOMINEES - Shown are the three 2023 Littlefield Homecoming Queen nominees. They will be featured in the parade on Thursday and the winner will be announced during halftime of Friday’s football game against Post.(L-R) Kennadi Hanlin, Julie Bownds and Amiah Elizondo. 

Littlefield Homecoming Parade set for Thursday

The 2023 Littlefield Homecoming Parade is set for next Thursday, Sept. 7th. The Parade will begin at 7:30 p.m., with line-up beginning at 6:45 p.m. The parade will be followed by Homecoming Kick-off at Wildcat Football Stadium begin at 8:30 p.m. following the parade.

Community prayer meeting scheduled at 7 p.m. Wednesday

The next community prayer meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, at Peace Deliverance Church, 801 Litlefield Dr. in Littlefield. Pastor John McCarty will host the meeting.

Three New Animal Welfare Laws Took Effect Sept. 1

AUSTIN, Texas – September 1, 2023, three new animal welfare bills have become Texas law. During the 2023 legislative session, the Texas Humane Legislation Network (THLN) advocated for all three bills: SB 876, HB 4164, and HB 598.
