Recyle your denim

Since 2006, Cotton Incorporated’s Blue Jeans Go Green program has collected denim (made from cotton) so it can be recycled back to its original fiber state and transformed into something new.

Library Gingerbread Contest registration open

The Lamb County Library’s annual Gingerbread House Contest is open for registration. The age groups are: 5-8-year olds; 9-12-year olds; 13-17-year olds and 18-years and up. The deadline to register will be Dec. 13th. Winners will be announced during their annual open house on Dec.

Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming! Lamb County Library proudly presents their annual Lighted Christmas Parade and Open House, sponsored by the Lamb County Library Advisory Board. Our board members have been hard at work preparing for this year’s Christmas festivities!

Lamb County Retired School Personnel Association Meeting

The Lamb County Retired School Personnel Association meeting for December will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. in the home of Janice Sokora, 1522 FM 54, Littlefield. Attendees are requested to bring a dish of their choice to share and a new toy for donation to the toy drive.

Olton annual Hometown Christmas set for Dec. 9

Olton’s annual Hometown Christmas Celebration will take place on Dec. 9th from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Pavilion on Main Street. There will be Vendors and Food Trucks from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Joe’s Jingle Jog will be at 2 p.m. and the Gingerbread Decorating Contest will be at 3:30 p.m.

Lfd. Jr. High 2nd Six Weeks Honor Rolls

The Littlefield Junior High School released the Honor Rolls for the second six weeks of the first semester. “A” HONOR ROLL Sixth Grade: Aurbie Torres, Jaden Winters and Kaden Winters. Seventh Grade: Jacob Fuentes. Eighth Grade: Piper Carr, Katharina Hill, Craig Jennings and Samuel Saenz.
