Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming! Lamb County Library proudly presents their annual Lighted Christmas Parade and Open House, sponsored by the Lamb County Library Advisory Board.
Our board members have been hard at work preparing for this year’s Christmas festivities! Save the date, Friday, December 15th. The evening will begin at 5pm with food trucks and vendors set up downtown. The parade line up is at 6pm and the parade will begin at 6:30pm. Immediately following the parade, the library’s Open House will begin with free hot chocolate and cookies. Don’t forget to grab a ticket for your chance at a door prize (you do not have to be present to win) and take a picture with Santa.
We will also be announcing the winners of our Gingerbread Contest. Entry forms for this event will be available at the library as of November 27th and will be accepted until December 13th. Downtown, food trucks and vendors will be open for business until 8pm. Anyone interested in participating can call the library at 806.385.5223 for more information. We also encourage our community to set up booths of fun, free Christmas games and activities for the kids as families stroll downtown for their Christmas shopping needs. We have an amazing group of board members who are dedicated to making this night a valued tradition that this county can be proud of! Each year they work hard to make this event bigger and better. We, at the library, could not be more thankful. So come out and support your community. Shop local. And let’s have a good time! From, Your friendly librarians
