Lamb County Library holds book signing for William Thompson’s book ‘Jungle O’s’

On November 21, 2023, the library hosted a book signing of Jungle O’s, by William A. Thompson. Thompson, a fifth generation Texan, is a renaissance man.

Texas’ Civilian Labor Force Continues Growth

The Lone Star State’s seasonally adjusted civilian labor force reached a new record high of 15,162,100 after growing by 20,900 people over the month in October. This marked the 10th consecutive monthly increase and included the addition of 21,100 Texans employed over the month.

Commissioners hold regular meeting Monday

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County met in regular session on Monday, November 27th at the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield to discuss a 12-item agenda. Lamb County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order at 10:04 a.m.

Commissioners to meet Monday

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 12—item agenda will be considered for appropriate action. After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items.

Senior Citizens serve lunch on Wednesdays

The Lamb County Senior Citizens’ are back in business for Wednesday lunhes. On Wednesdays at noon, potluck meals are served, with members taking their favorite dish to share, or by paying a $6 lunch fee. The Center operates on donations of any amount.
