The National Honor Society of Littlefield High School Induction of New Members

The Littlefield High School National Honor Society held the annual Induction Ceremony for new members on Monday, April 29, 2024.The Ceremony opened with the processional of the current members of the National Honor Society and the Inductees of the new members of the 2024-2025 National Honor Society.

Earth, Texas to Celebrate 100 years

Earth is having a celebration honoring it’s 100th anniversary on Saturday, June 15th.Activities will begin at 10 a.m. with a parade down Main Street and will continue to the Rodeo Grounds. There will be a brief history of the town and displays about different people from the area.

Eric Saenz, Reese Rogers win respective elections

The General Election took place on Saturday May 4, 2024 and the results from the election are as follows: The race between Robert Nichols and Eric Saenz for City Council District 1 seat went to Saenz, who received 63.6% of votes, including 12 votes during early voting and two votes on election day.

State Sales Tax Revenue Totaled Nearly $4 Billion in April

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.96 billion in April, 3.2 percent less than in April 2023. The majority of April sales tax revenue is based on sales made in March and remitted to the agency in April.

The Commissioner’s Court of Lamb County held a special meeting on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield.Lamb County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order.Item number two on the agenda was to consider and take appropriate action on bills.
