Littlefield EMS to host Fundraiser today, Oct. 13

Littlefield EMS is hosting a Hamburger Fundraiser on Oct. 13th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with all proceeds going to benefit Chris Thompson.Thompson was injured in a vehicle accident on August 27, 2024, and suffered a spinal cord injury, he is currently in rehab to regain the ability to walk.

Littlefield School Board to meet Oct. 21

The Littlefield Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet in Regular Session on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Jerry Blakely Administration Building.

Wolverines take down Longhorns to open district play

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team opened up district play on Thursday night with a home game against Hart, 45’ing the Longhorns early in the third quarter, 52-6.With the win, the Wolverines improve to 3-3 overall, 1-0 in district play.

Commissioners hold regular meeting Wednesday

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County held their regular meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 9th to discuss an 11-item agenda.The meeting was called to order at 9:04 a.m. by Lamb County Judge James DeLoach and District Judge Scott Say gave the Invocation.
